Low Cost Options
There is an excellent range of low cost accommodation available in Veliko Turnovo. As well as the traditional backpacker hostel accommodation there are also numerous guesthouses or ‘homestay’ type options. Accommodation in this section ranges from 5 – 15 Euros.

Hotel Options
There are lots of hotels available and it appears new ones are opening all the time. Hotels vary massively in price and as always you generally get what you pay for. We have listed hotels that are priced from 30 – 70 Euros per night. Hotels in Bulgaria are normally priced per room and not per person.

Bed & Breakfast Options
If you are looking for low cost Veliko Turnovo accommodation but don’t fancy the idea of staying at a hostel then Bed & Breakfast or homestay style accommodation may be the answer. Homestay is basically renting a room within someones home. There are also a range of differnt B&Bs available, prices range from 10 – 50 Euros per night.

Holiday Let Options
If you are staying for a week or more and/or you are travelling as a family who may find it preferable to rent an entire house. The advantage of this option is that you will naturally have more space, along with the flexibility of preparing your own meals. Many of these options are out of town and prices range from 150 – 500 Euros a week.
